Bukit Jalil Nightlife Guide

Plan a Bukit Jalil evening at Babylon, from the Aurora location and parking to happy hour, live sets and booth bookings.

Updated 26 October 2026 · 7 minute read

For a Bukit Jalil nightlife plan centred on live music, Babylon Club offers a clear starting point: a live house at Plaza Bukit Jalil in Aurora SOVO, open Monday to Saturday from 5pm to 3am, with beer happy hour until 10pm and the first band at 9:15pm. Choose a booth or standing-table arrangement, confirm the applicable minimum and use the venue’s map link for the journey. This guide focuses on planning that visit from arrival to departure. It does not assume unconfirmed nearby venues, transit walking times or Sunday operating arrangements.

Start with the correct location

Babylon’s address is 1-02-01, Plaza Bukit Jalil, No. 1, Persiaran Jalil 1, Bandar Bukit Jalil, 57000 Kuala Lumpur, in the Aurora SOVO development. Use the Google Maps or Waze links on the contact page and share the same link with everyone in your party.

The location matters because a familiar club name alone may not be enough to guide a group. Check that the booking conversation and map refer to Bukit Jalil. The current venue photos show the multicolour illuminated ceiling, stage details and booth seating of this location. Use the map for navigation and ask the team about the entrance rather than trying to identify the building from a photo alone.

Choose what time your evening begins

Babylon’s published hours are Monday to Saturday, 5pm–3am. An early gathering can begin during the 5pm–10pm beer happy hour, while a music-focused visit can be planned around the first band at 9:15pm. Pick the starting point that suits your guests rather than trying to fill the entire operating window.

If people arrive at different times, make the plan clear. The first group can settle at the agreed table, while later guests know which set they may catch. Confirm the table arrangement and any arrival conditions with the team. Do not infer Sunday hours from the Monday-to-Saturday schedule; ask directly if that affects your plans.

Understand the live-house format

Babylon has bands, DJs and dancers sharing the main stage. It does not have private KTV rooms. The booths provide places for groups around the live-house experience, rather than separate rooms where guests choose their own songs.

Explain that distinction to friends before inviting them. A group expecting private karaoke may want a different plan, while guests interested in watching performers can use the schedule to choose a set. If the kind of music matters, ask about the actual line-up for your date. The general format is confirmed, but it does not identify an unannounced band or guarantee a particular repertoire.

Follow the programme through the night

The first live band plays from 9:15pm to 10pm. A DJ follows until 10:30pm, then another band set runs until 11:15pm. DJs and dancers take the next segment until midnight, followed by a third band set until 12:45am. DJs and dancers return until 1:30am, then a DJ plays till late.

You can plan a complete visit around only part of that sequence. Choose a set you want to hear and leave the later evening flexible. Some guests may prefer the bands while others stay for the DJ. Check any event-night changes with the team so the group’s expectations match the actual programme on the date you choose.

Choose from the booth and standing-table groups

The plan lists 25 booths: SVIP 1, VIP A1–A12 and VIP B1–B12. SVIP 1 and B5–B12 are listed for eight to ten guests, while A1–A12 and B1–B4 are listed for four to six. HT01–HT11 and CT01–CT09 standing tables are also shown for four to six.

Use your confirmed headcount to begin the conversation. Ask the team about availability and the actual arrangement for your party rather than choosing a table only by its label. If guests may join later, explain that before reserving. A plan works best when it reflects the people who will attend, not the largest possible number from an early group chat.

Check spending requirements by day

For Monday–Wednesday, SVIP 1 and B5–B12 list two eligible liquor bottles or RM1,500 in beer; for Thursday–Saturday, they list three bottles or RM2,000. The smaller A and B1–B4 groups list one bottle or RM1,000 in beer for Monday–Wednesday and two bottles or RM1,500 for Thursday–Saturday.

Standing tables are marked “No Min. Spending*,” with conditions to confirm with the team. Babylon has no cover charge, but that entry policy does not remove booth requirements. Ask which bottles qualify, what counts toward beer spending and how final charges apply. Prices exclude 10% service charge and 8% SST.

Make happy hour fit your group

The bottled-beer happy-hour offers are twenty-four Tiger bottles at RM449++, Guinness at RM469++ or Heineken at RM499++, from 5pm to 10pm. Ask how the offer applies to the table minimum you are considering and whether the chosen order meets the group’s preferences.

Keep the time window, quantity and charges together when discussing the price. Do not assume a mixed bottle selection or a different serving format qualifies. Agree how shared spending will be divided and who can approve extras. The right order is one the group understands and wants, not simply the package with the most impressive total quantity.

Plan food and occasions as specific requests

Babylon offers a full kitchen menu and ten house favourites. Request the current menu, prices and availability if you want to eat during the visit. Raise dietary questions before the night and confirm how food orders relate to your table arrangement.

There is no birthday package. If your group is celebrating, mention that when booking the booth and ask about any additional requests. A company gathering can be discussed in the same practical way: date, group size, purpose and requirements. Do not assume a general welcome for celebrations includes a cake, decoration service or particular event setup.

Make parking and arrival straightforward

Valet parking is available on Level 1, and the Aurora car park is another option. Share those confirmed choices with drivers and ask the team about the best entrance or drop-off point. If someone needs a specific access arrangement, raise it before travelling.

For guests using other transport, use current navigation and confirm the route rather than adding an unverified station or walking time to the invitation. Agree on a meeting point once you have the venue’s guidance. Keep the organiser reachable and the reservation reply easy to find so separate arrivals do not become a series of confusing calls.

Confirm the booth and the way home

Call or WhatsApp 010-829 3977 with your date, arrival time and guest count. No deposit is needed, walk-ins are welcome and early booking is not required on festive or event nights. If a preferred booth matters, ask the team to confirm its availability and spending conditions.

After the reply, send guests a short summary with the location link, arrival time, table and shared-budget plan. Arrange a safe journey home and leave room for different departure times. A Bukit Jalil night at Babylon can be simple: the right destination, a suitable place for your group, clear costs and a live programme you are looking forward to experiencing.

Keep one person responsible for communicating any changes. That gives the venue a consistent contact and prevents different guests from accidentally requesting conflicting table arrangements.
